The Atascadero was the site of a huge hacienda in the last century, on the first hill to the east overlooking San Miguel. Today it is the area coveted by many who know and love San Miguel because you can walk downhill and in 10 minutes you’re in the middle of the hustle and bustle of our colonial town…and then when you’re ready for luxurious quiet and beautiful trees with the sound of birds—you hop in a taxi and 5 minutes and 25 pesos later, you’re home. (For the hardy, it’s a 20 min. walk back.)
This 3 bedroom, 4 ½ bath home has, by design, 3 “master” suites. All have private Terraces and elegant bathrooms, spacious closets and fireplaces. It has 2 comfortable living areas with televisions (satellite), VCR’s, high speed internet and a whole house sound system. A cook’s kitchen, two dining areas and a roof terrace with fabulous views of the city and the sunset with the Guanajuato mountains in the distance.
