Originally from San Antonio Texas, I worked for the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Houston and was a partner in the Crockett Hotel in San Antonio where I lived with my daughter Layne Schuette Fulero for over 20 years.

I also owned my own Antiques business during that time before moving to San Miguel in 2003. I speak fluent Spanish, having grown up in Argentina and Venezuela.

I have been coming to San Miguel for many years, but 20 years ago I decided to move here full time when my business partner, Graciela Loyola and I bought the “Management” portion of another company known as “Casas de San Miguel”.  I was Vice President of AMPI San Miguel, the National Real Estate Association of Mexico in 2014.
